The morning will take place in Sant’Isidoro, at the Lido Dinamiko (starting at 10:30), with a rich program that includes:

Institutional speeches by Antonio Tondo, President of the Council delegated to Sport, by Tony De Paola (Sports Consultation), by Ilaria Trinchera (Legambiente) and by the marine biologist Sergio Fai;
The presentation of the “L’Onda 2025” Award to the young athlete Vittoria Presta;
An evocative artistic dance performance on the beach;
A free introductory stand up paddle activity for a small group of booked participants;
A symbolic collective swim with paddlers and swimmers who will escort a mermaid, emblem of the “mareviglia” to be protected and looked after.
The morning will end with music, a collective thought turned to the future.

In the afternoon, from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, the Festa del Mare will continue in Santa Maria al Bagno, at the Salento Aquarium, with the educational-laboratory path “Shells or microplastics?”, which combines a guided tour, observation under the microscope and practical activities for all ages. The entrance fee is standard: 7 euros full, 5 euros reduced. Reservations are required only by purchasing the ticket on the official website: www.acquariodelsalento.it . Reservations with other methods are not accepted.

The Festa del Mare confirms itself as a moment of strong symbolic and social value, capable of uniting generations, enhancing the territory and promoting a sport open to all, thanks to the collaboration with volunteers, associations and citizens. The sea belongs to everyone. The festival is also yours.
