One of the most anticipated events of the Salento spring is back again this year: on Saturday 14 June, the streets of the city of Nardò will transform into a large open-air stage to host the new edition of the “Notte Bianca del Commercio”. A night-long party that combines music, entertainment, discounts and promotional initiatives, ready to involve citizens, tourists and visitors in an unforgettable evening.

The event is promoted by the Municipal Administration Pippi Mellone, by the councilor delegated to the show Lelè Manieri, in collaboration with the Unione Commercianti Nardò e Marine and the Distretto Urbano del Commercio (DUC). A synergy that aims to support local businesses, enhance the city and officially kick off the summer season.

During the Notte Bianca, the shops will remain open until late at night, offering exceptional discounts, dedicated promotions and unique shopping opportunities. But that's not all: the entire city center will be animated by live shows, musical performances, street artists and entertainment for all ages.

A real collective celebration that will involve every corner of the city, transforming it into a place of meeting and sharing.

“The Notte Bianca is an event that combines culture, sociality and economic development – declared Mayor Mellone – and represents a concrete opportunity for local merchants, but also an opportunity for everyone to experience the city in a different way, between fun and participation.”

Councilor Lelè Manieri adds: “We have worked to create an evening full of content, designed to attract families, young people and tourists. We want Nardò to be a point of reference for those looking for authentic and engaging experiences.”

Satisfaction also from the merchants: “The Notte Bianca represents for us a strategic moment to make our activities known and create a stronger bond with the territory – said Annamaria, president of the Nardò and Marine Traders Union –. It is an opportunity to work together, network and show the most dynamic and welcoming face of our city.”

The detailed program of events will be announced in the coming days, but the enthusiasm is already in the air. The appointment is for Saturday 14 June, when the lights of the White Night will light up the heart of Nardò for an explosion of energy, creativity and collective participation.
