Films shot in Nardò

It is a short film about Giovanni Falcone shot in Nardò in April 2018. It is inspired by the book "The Child Giovanni Falcone" written by Angelo Di Liberto. It tells the story of a child who struggles to overcome his fears and at the same time the narration of the genesis of one of the most important figures in the history of our country.

A child who will become a magistrate fighting ‘Cosa Nostra’, a criminal organization present in Italy, especially in Sicily. The story is told by Apulian director Vito Palumbo. U Muschittìeri was produced by the Apulian companies Recplay, Intergea and Beagle Media, in co-production with Rai Cinema and with the moral patronage of the Falcone Foundation and the Municipality of Palermo.

The screenplay was written by the director himself, as well as Angelo Di Liberto, Giuseppe Triarico, Giuseppe Isoni and Andrea Brusa. The director of photography is Daniele Ciprì. The young Giovanni Falcone is played by Gabriele Provenzano.
