Discovering the city of Nardò: it will be a big surprise. We will do it through its history, its artistic and cultural heritage and its institutional and outdoor museums. The museums can offer a lot of things to all visitors, from small curiosities to special interests, customs or ancient traditions.

In the heart of the city, we can find the Museum of Rural Life and Popular Traditions, with its great historical charm.
The museum is divided into five large sections: The Paesant, The Arts and Crafts, The Domestic Life, The Popular Traditions and you will admire an area of Nardò which no longer exists (the latter is a collection of about 40 plastic models of monuments and churches of Nardò).
Visiting the museum is a leap into the past: tools, proverbs, nicknames, customs, things of popular and artisan world and culinary aspects of the most authentic tradition.
