Del Prete Villa dates back to 1912. It is characterized by a square tower with an Islamic-style dome.

The colour, in shades of red-pink, is a peculiarity of the villa, combining it harmoniously with the park in which it is set. During the Second World War it was used first as a hospital and then as a reception camp for a large group of Jews who had escaped the extermination camps. They were hosted in Nardò for about four years before their departure for Palestine.
