Villa Vescovile (The Bishop’s Villa)

It was destined to be the summer residence of the Bishop of Nardò. The style of this building is neoclassical: there are triangular tympanums on the windows of the upper floor and a corbelled cornice, a typical classical motif also found in Renaissance palaces. Baroque elements can be seen in the rich decorations under the windows on the ground floor. The façade is divided by pilasters with capitals.
